Project Overview
A 320-metre section of a 1700mm diameter main sewer line in southern Spain required rehabilitation after leakage and loss of watertightness were identified. The pipeline, located parallel to a river, formed part of a sensitive infrastructure upgrade, requiring careful planning and execution.
The rehabilitation was delivered in two installation shots and formed a key component in improving the performance and resilience of the sewer network.
The Solution
The complete scope of work, including:
- Pipeline inspection
- Cleaning
- Relining with a 1700mm CIPP liner
- Final CCTV survey
was carried out by the delivery contractor. Insituform UK supplied the 1700mm cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner and provided technical support throughout installation.
Installation Programme
